Bay Leaf is steam distilled from the leaves and branches of the Bay tree. Its aroma is camphoraceous, herb-y, and warm. The dried leaves are commonly used as a culinary herb and the oil is included in massage formulations for muscular aches and pains such as arthritis and for aiding with poor circulation. It is also indicated to help with colds and virus infections and inhaled for respiratory support. Bay Leaf also has properties for controlling dandruff and promoting hair growth.
