Top Citrus Oils To Try In 2019!

Citrus essential oils are a popular category of oils. They are versatile and can be used in many different types of blends and DIY like skin care, hair care, perfumes, candles, and even cleaning. Essential oils that are in the citrus category smell bright, fresh, and can be tangy or sweet. Most citrus oils are also cold pressed, as opposed to steam distilled like other oils, because the oil typically comes from the rind of the fruit which can only be pressed out. Some citrus oils, like Lime, Lemon, and Grapefruit can cause photosensitivity, which means that the skin becomes sensitive to direct sunlight and can cause irritation or reactions on the skin so be careful when using these oils topically.
With that said, citrus oils are still a fabulous addition to any oil collection no matter how you want to use them! With so many oils to choose from, its hard to know which ones are best to use so here are our recommendations for the top 5 citrus oils to try out in 2019!
