Oregano has a spicy, camphorous aroma. Due to high carvacol and thymol content, it is considered to be "nature's cure all" and is reputed to have potent antiviral, antifungal, antibacterial and anti-parasitic properties. In topical applications, it can be used to treat itching, skin infections, cuts and wounds and due to its anti-inflammatory properties, it is effective against swelling and pain.

Blends well with: Bay Leaf, Bergamot, Cedarwood, Chamomile, Citronella, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Helichrysum, Lavender, Lemon, Litsea, Oakmoss, Petitgrain, Pine, Rosemary, Sweet Orange, Tea Tree, Thyme, Wintergreen

Cautions: Never use essential oils undiluted or in eyes or mucus membranes. Do not take internally unless working with a qualified and expert practitioner. Keep away from children and pets.
